A few pictures...

Well here is a little update of our last few weeks via photos..

Jeff finished his second year with Impact. Which was also his last. Since Olivia will be joining us shortly after school starting back and with other changes the group is under going with both feel a peace about walking in a different direction. I'm excited to see what God has in store for Jeff musically this next year.

After finishing their last worship set in Houston, TX, we went over to San Antonio to spend 2 days relaxing. Jeff and I walked to the Alamo as soon as we got in.. and I'm so glad we did. It was closed but that was great for pictures :), less people.

My Boo and I :)

On the river walk.. which is also where our hotel was.

At the best restaurant in TX, Pappasito's!!

^AWESOME^

Spending a great 21 weeks with Jeff.

This is Impact!

Our last night we got to go on a dinner cruise, on which I had the most amazing caesar salad ever!

Some of the boys waiting to go up to the Sun Dial.

Enjoying the view for sure!!

This is the Sun Dial... before it was pitch black! I'm pretty sure I almost died that day. I woke up and walked to the mall with Beth and Kalyn, then met up with Jeff walked around a bit, then walked to the dinner cruise, then walked to the sun dial, then walked back to the hotel... my feet were barking! Not to mention that was one of the first nights I experienced SCIATICA. Awesome new experience that I have now, awesome I tell you.

Over the next few weeks Jeff and I are starting a nice DEEP clean and packing up our winter stuff, it's now 105 in Mobile. We have ordered our baby bedding, my parents have picked up the crib and dresser and now we are looking for a birthing class to take. Oh, and Jeff already got his "Father's Day" gift. We found the guitar of his dreams at a pawn shop in Montgomery. Thankfully I had been saving anticipating a moment like this for a few months so it was no skin off our nose! (Yay for cash purchases!!) We've also paid a lot of stupid things off these last few months! Jeff is taking 18 hours this Summer :-). He is almost done with his first term and I couldn't be more proud of all his hard work!
P.S. Our 4 year wedding anniversary is this Thursday!!!

Time flys..

I can't believe it's already been over a month since I last blogged but then again I've never kept up on a regular basis so i don't know why I act surprised. I'm 23.4 weeks now and Olivia is kicking up a storm. Jeff and I just spent time this morning laughing over her "dancing". It has been a wild journey so far, I finally stopped having morning sickness at 22 weeks PTL. I was beginning to think I might be sick until she was born.
My doctors office hears from me almost weekly it feels like. But I swear they are the best ever. I'm looking forward to the next few months I have the last two weddings in June ( www.jessicaleehenderson.com ) giving me plenty of time to get organized for Olivia. Jeff and I got to go back to TX this year with impact and what a relaxing time that was!! We saw the Alamo at night and then walked the river walk together. We ordered baby bedding that we are super pumped to be getting at the end of the month! I'll definitely update with photos no worries. I'm updating from my Mothers Day present aka iPhone so I can't load any photos so sorry :( until next time!

Things I am not..

Patient.

Jeff and I decided to go early to find out what we were having. ( ok I begged until he finally caved ) It was so amazing to see how much the baby had grown and all that movement.. Right on my bladder :) Thanks baby.

Meet Olivia Ana Henderson.

She will be making her appearance sometime in September. Jeff is so excited and its such a blessing to watch him getting prepared for his daughter to arrive. I am hunting for just the right bedding, the not to frilly dresses, etc. I'm also still sick in the mornings. Thank you, Olivia. We counted and since I'm turned 18 weeks this Thursday, I have been sick every day for at least 12 weeks. For about 8 weeks it was all day very bad.. Now its just mornings. Olivia, if you'd like, you can stop making me sick now :).

This weekend we will be making a trip home for Easter. I feel like I never have enough time to see all my family, closest friends, and relax. But like always, we'll make it work. Ella will be very excited to have my parents backyard to roam around in for 3 days.  Needless to say we are excited to be taking a small break from Mobile and get back to Atlanta.

Any registry suggestions? What brands did you like the best?

The Countdown!

No no I'm not already counting the day until the baby gets here.. I'm counting down the days until I find out what I'm having!!!

As long as Baby shows its goodies ;) we'll know in 18 days! yay! I can't hardly believe its already time to know if this is a girl or boy growing inside of me. Oh and this kid better understand that Spicy Chicken Sandwiches may be tasty to them but the heart burn can't be worth it! I swear.

On a different note Jeff is trying so hard to graduate next May 2012. He will have completed his 4/5yr degree in 3 years! I couldn't be more proud of his efforts and how close he is to finishing! You best believe he'll be the best looking Dad graduating in 2012. :-)

^A Christmas Memory^ I miss the cabin!

In just a few weeks we'll be letting the whole world know who will be joining us in September!

Something I love..

I love to design T-Shirts. I didn't know it until this past year when I got to design a few for work requirements... its a ton of fun! I made another one today.. I can't spoil it yet by leaking a photo here because its a surprise for students :)

The baby is 13 weeks today! Jeff and I plan on celebrating.. probably with some ice cream! YES.

I also love my dog. Ella is hilarious.

This is a picture from when she first joined our family.... aww so sweet. She is chomping on a bone at this very moment. Since we don't have a yard.. she buries the bone in different places around the house. Examples: in the couch, in the basket of blankets, in the TV stand (by the games), in the dirty clothes (gross), etc. You get the point the poor girl wants to dig and hide this lil bone. Oh well sweet girl. One day we'll have a yard for you to play in and yes even dig.

Jeff's home.. I'm going to go beg for an ice cream trip!

Today is a day.

Question? Why does it seem like the best sleep is happening to you right when you need to wake up? I am pretty sure I hit the snooze button 25 times this morning before I actually got out of bed.

I got to come out to Integrity today to hear Jeff lead worship for the Spring Break class this afternoon. He lead both sessions today and even though I wasn't here for the morning service I am so proud of all his work for this afternoon. Something that many people don't realize about worship leaders is how much work they put (should) into their song decisions. Jeff constantly pours his heart into his preparation any time he leads worship. I know this because I lose him for a few hours as he prepares. He removes himself from his surroundings and truly focuses on the words of the songs he chooses. I realized today as he lead that is a reason why I'm so proud of him. Also, I'm so thankful that my child will be raised by a Dad who spends that much time truly preparing for leading people to worship our GREAT King. While I was in the class a question was brought up.. Would you die for what you talked about over lunch? Well that was also transitioned into would you die for the songs your singing, writing, etc. Makes you think eh?

Kathryn Scott's Song We Still Believe

I feel like I've been on both sides of this song. I will continue in someway or form to always be on each side of these cries.

I'll die for the truth behind this song.

Sunday Afternoon

Jeff lead a song this morning at the church he plays at on Wednesday nights. This morning started off weird because of the loss of time. We got some NEWK's after church which was a blessing to my life and stomach. I love their Mediterranean Pizza. mmmm (thankfully I have leftovers for dinner) Well on the way back home we decided we'd lay down for a little nap once we made it home. Jeff and I passed out for 5 hours! Neither of us moved. We were out for the count. It was a much needed nap I'd say.

I want this for Mother's Day. I realize that my child isn't here yet but this year Jeff and I will get to celebrate being parents on Mother's Day and Father's Day. This necklace is at DressU .. I'll be dropping a hint later to Jeff :)

Enjoy your Sunday evenings!!
